Dealing with the Wedding Party

Because of your name, the Best Man, you will often be expected to entertain, socialize, and organize other members of the wedding party who have no idea of what they are expected to do. If there are any members of the wedding party that you do not particularly like, put your differences aside during the wedding, smile, and be polite.

You might be asking yourself, “How am I going to get along with ‘so and so’” but what you will find is that the answer is easy. Take a deep breath, remember that this is a special occasion and will not last a forever, and make a decision to be nice.

Whatever it takes to get along with the girl that is a little too pushy, or that man that will not stop talking, tell yourself that it will all be over soon, and that you are doing everything possible to make the Bride and Groom as happy as possible.
